Frequently Asked Questions

We've taken the liberty to answer everything you may need to know about Ellerman House.

Ellerman House is located in Cape Town, South Africa. Cape Town is South Africa's oldest city and is continually voted a favourite holiday destination by travellers. With a wide range of varying landscapes, such as beaches, ocean, mountains, vineyards, and much more, there's plenty to explore in what is fondly called the Mother City.

Ellerman House in Cape Town is great all year round. However, it's really best in summer if you want to explore the nearby beaches. The popular summer season in Cape Town is from December to April, when the weather is warm and with little to no rain. If you want to skip the wind (it picks up in summer) and crowds, aim to visit in February and May when both calm down a bit. From June to October, it's winter, and you can expect lots of rain. The famous whale season is between August and October.
