What is the best time of year to visit Zimbabwe?
Zimbabwe has a pleasant climate and can be visited all year round. Summer runs from November - March and is characterised by high temperatures (often above 30 degrees Celsius) and rain. The winters are cool and dry, ideal for game viewing as animals gather around water sources. Victoria Falls is at its most mighty in April and May after the summer rainy season. During the dry season, the water levels are lower though this is better for white water rafting on the Zambezi River. Having said that the climate is temperate and it rarely gets unbearably cold or hot.
